What is Morpheus8 Body?

Morpheus8 Body is a non-surgical procedure that uses radiofrequency (RF) and microneedling to target areas on the body for skin tightening, fat reduction, and overall skin improvement. It can help improve skin texture, reduce wrinkles, minimize cellulite, and address stretch marks and scars. The treatment stimulates collagen and elastin production, leading to more youthful and firmer skin.

How many Morpheus8 Body treatments are recommended and how long in between treatments?

Optimal results are achieved after three treatments spaced 4 weeks apart to treat deep wrinkles and skin laxity.

What is the Morpheus8 Body treatment like and is it painful? 

No, Morpheus8 Body treatment is not painful. Prior to treatment, a local anesthetic cream is applied for 1 hour to numb the area. This is to ensure that the patient is as comfortable as possible throughout the procedure. The Morpheus8 Body handpiece is placed on the treatment area, allowing microneedles to permeate the epidermis. Once injected, the microneedles create radiofrequency (RF) waves, to penetrate the deep dermal skin layer. Due to the small size of the needles, the majority of patients tolerate the procedure with little discomfort. This straightforward, safe treatment is effective on all skin types. Some redness and swelling immediately following the treatment is expected, and typically resolves within 2-3 days.

When can I expect results? 

The best results from Morpheus8 Body are achieved after a series of 3 treatments. Following a treatment, expect 3-5 days of redness, similar to a sunburn, slight edema or swelling, and a feeling of tightness. Bruising is common. It is important to maintain proper skin hydration, and makeup may be worn 24–48 hours following the treatment. Aesthetic results improve after a single treatment with optimal results enjoyed 3 months after third treatment when collagen production is complete.

How long do the results of Morpheus8 Body last? 

As with any non-surgical treatment, Morpheus8 Body results require regular maintenance. We recommend a single maintenance session every 6-12 months. Of course, we encourage our patients to always strive to make healthy food choices and maintain an active lifestyle.
