Meet Elizabeth Pritts

Bio

Dr.  Elizabeth Pritts completed both her Obstetrics and Gynecologic Residency in 1998 and her Gynecological Surgical Fellowship in 1999 at Yale University. She completed her Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility Fellowship at the University of California at San Francisco in 2002. She is Board Certified in Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility, and Minimally Invasive Gynecology.

She served as Assistant Professor in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at the University of Wisconsin Medical School, as a Clinical Fellow at the University of California at San Francisco and was an Instructor at Yale University School of Medicine. In 2007, she co-founded the Wisconsin Fertility Institute and was Medical Director until 2024 when she sold the practice. In 2023 and 2024, she received the distinction of being one of the top 100 Fertility Practices in the US.

She has been named as one of the Best Doctors in America since 2009, has authored more than 100 scientific articles and has lectured throughout the world on reproduction and fertility. She is also on the board of directors for Family Health Ministries, a group that supports education and healthcare for women in the country of Haiti, the place her daughters were born.

Dr. Pritts thought that the sale of her beloved practice would lead her to retirement, but she so missed working with fertility patients that she reached out to one of her most respected colleagues asking if there was a need for an extra set of hands in Michigan. To that request, Dr. Gago generously said “come on out and help me care for these lovely Michigan families”.  Dr. Pritts will be joining us in caring for you part time here at Gago Center for Fertility.
