Michelle Mitchell, RN BSN
I am a graduate of Madonna University with a Bachelor's in Nursing. I made the decision to become a nurse because I wanted to make a difference in the lives of others, no matter the outcome. My previous nursing experience included working in both pediatric and adult critical care. I have worked in reproductive endocrinology for several years, and the very best part of my career is that I assist these couples in their journey to achieve a family.
Jennifer O'Connor, RDMS
I am a graduate of Baker College where I received an Associate’s Degree of Applied Science in Diagnostic Medical Sonography and a Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare Administration. I am also a certified pharmacy technician, and have taken phlebotomy classes. I have worked at Gago Center for Fertility since 2010, and I currently assist Dr. Gago with ultrasound, monitoring, consultations, procedures, surgery scheduling, and administrative tasks at the Brighton office and both satellite locations. I enjoy working with every patient throughout their fertility journey as a part of the Gago Fertility team.
Erin Crandell, RDMS
I graduated in 2003 with honors from Baker College of Owosso, with a degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography. I currently assist Dr. Gago with ultrasound, monitoring patients, and assisting with IVF procedures. I have an extensive background in all aspects of ultrasound, including critical and emergency care, outpatient procedures such as biopsies, and assisting surgeons during operations. I am especially compassionate about fertility issues, as I am also a patient of Dr. Gago's. I feel very fortunate that my journey in life led me to Dr. Gago's, and now I am able to offer my support for other people going through something I hold dear to my heart.
Lesia Eberhard, RDMS
I graduated Summa Cum Laude from Baker College and began working with Dr. Gago in 2012. I have always had a passion for working in the medical field. You will find me in both our Brighton and Lansing offices, I perform ultrasound exams, draw blood, and work in our laboratory. What I love about this job is that while each person is made of the same basic things, we are all beautifully unique inside and out, and I get to see that every day in our office. I thoroughly enjoy meeting and helping my patients, and being able to give them good news when that time comes!
Hiba Kamal, RDMS
I graduated in 2013 with a Bachelor of Science in Diagnostic Medical Sonography from Benedictine University in Lisle, IL as well as a certificate in Diagnostic Medical Sonography from Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago, IL. I currently assist with ultrasound exams, procedures, and blood draws in our Brighton and Ann Arbor offices. I have always enjoyed working in the medical field and offering my care and support. I love sharing the journey of all of our fertility patients at Gago Center as well as the joy that comes with a good news.
Upon finishing medical assisting school I received my RMA and CMA in 2012. I interned at University of Michigan where I gained knowledge and experience in obstetrics and gynecology, pediatrics, internal medicine, x-ray and the speciality clinic which included urology, audiology, pain, hepatology. Prior to working at Gago Center I worked 2 years in Urology and also have experience in ENT, OB/Gyn and the Women's Breast Clinic. I think the best part of my job here at Gago Center is being able to help people with the priceless gift of a child. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family, doing volunteer work and traveling.
Office Manager/IVF Financial Coordinator
I previously managed a medical billing company for 12 years working with all different specialties. Currently my job is to manage the office and make sure the flow of the office on the day to day basis runs efficiently as well as assist patients with financial inquiries they may have concerning IVF. I really love and enjoy being a part of the Gago team and working for such caring and dedicated physicians. It is truly amazing what the staff and physicians at this center do day to day to help these families achieve their goals in creating their families.
